Pilates is a system of exercises that promotes the strengthening of the body including core strength, increased flexibility, breath control and correct alignment to improve posture.  A floor mat, towel and water bottle are needed for class.Strength Training will help you improve your overall functional strength.  This functional training class will increase your muscle mass, add bone density and strengthen your core.  All ages are welcome to join.  A towel, mat and water bottle are needed for class.  
 
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM    Creative Kids - Creative Kids & More!
Your preschooler will enjoy a variety of fun arts and crafts in Creative Kids & More.  Projects will include fall season/holiday themes.  Other activities such as stories, music and games that correspond with the theme of the day will be included as time allows. Join our caring staff for 2 hours of fun! Max of 10 students per class.Participants must be potty- trained.
 
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM    Walk off the Pounds - Walk Off the Pounds
This program consists of walking in place, knee lifts, forward kicks and back kicks for a total walk of 1-3 miles.  The popularity of indoor walking as weight loss activity is growing in leaps and bounds.  Participants should bring a towel and water bottle.  
 
11:10 AM - 12:10 PM    Ready-Set-Go - Ready Set Go (Wednesdays)
This program will introduce children to a variety of different exercises in a structured, safe environment including, but not limited to stretching, kickball, exercises, skipping, hopping, parachute play, and t-ball.This program will also teach the importance of good sportsmanship and teamwork while playing games.  Adults may be required to participate.

Choose from one of our many varieties of Yoga ClassesYoga for Health and Well Being is specially designed with sequences of postures and meditative poses you will learn how to cultivate and circulate your life force energy.  Build strength, balance and increase your flexibilityMindfulness Chair Yoga is designed  for those who would like assistance.  This class will consist of experiential exercises and gentle movements including breathing, mindfulness, stress reduction and gentle movement using the chair.Power Flow Yoga allows you to step out of your comfort zone and explore the fundamentals of power vinyasa yoga.  Key poses with a focus on crating a true north alignment with each pose.  This form of yoga links movement and breath together.Kripalu is a flow of postures with emphasis on body awareness, alignment and condition of breath and movement.  Participants are encouraged to practice at their own level, using variations and modifications to give postures more or less challenging.  This class is recommended for the intermediate level and above or those with 5 or more years of yoga experience.

This class will move at a restorative pace.  Combining disciplines in Dynamic Stretching to warm up and strengthen key muscles in the body.  Pilates to work the body's core, your abdominal muscles, glutes and hip flexors using a stability ball and/or block.  Yoga to facilitate wellness while moving with breath, creating alignment and a fluid flow into each pose.  Ending with static stretching, rest and a release of fatigue from the mind and body.Yoga mat, towel and water bottle needed for class.

This form of meditation is designed to develop the skill of paying attention to your inner and outer experiences with acceptance, patience, and compassion.  MBSR promotes the development of stability, inner calmness, and non-reactivity of the mind.  In turn, this allows you to face and embrace the unpleasant or painful aspect of everyday life.  The stability and non-reactivity cultivate in formal practice supports of your ability to become more compassionate human beings.  It will allow you to experience the joys of pure non-reactive presence.  By developing a simple and pure awareness, we learn to disentangle ourselves from our habitual thoughts, emotions and behaviors and connect with experience, with yourself and others in a deeper healthier way.  Notebook and water should be brought to each class.

Come spend Saturday Mornings exploring Science and STEM. Each session will focus on hands-on STEM activities with a seasonal connection and the world you live in. Previous activities included “Oil Spill Challenge”, “Witches Brew” chemistry lesson, designing the “Mayflower” and we even explore the science of making slime.Snowtastic Saturday:  Haven't had a snow day?  Are you ready for some snow?  Let's make our own.  Try out four different recipies for fake snow and see which is the coldest and which makes the best snowballs.  We will also be making our own snow globes.  Each participant must bring a 12oz bottle with a lid.Have a Heart Saturday:  February is National Heart Month.  Learn how the human heart and lungs work by creating your own models of them.Springtastic Saturday:   In this 2 hour class we will be getting ready for spring by making your own homemade bird feeders.

Pilates is a system of exercises that promotes the strengthening of the body including core strength, increased flexibility, breath control and correct alignment to improve posture.  A floor mat, towel and water bottle are needed for class.Strength Training will help you improve your overall functional strength.  This functional training class will increase your muscle mass, add bone density and strengthen your core.  All ages are welcome to join.  A towel, mat and water bottle are needed for class.
